Most shelters have outside kennels with NO blankets or beds, dogs sleep on cold cement! It's so cold at night! There are approximately 100 tiny/small/medium dogs at each shelter at any given time, plus all the large dogs, and the cats. For those who know me, you know that i am very involved in animal rescue, have a huge love for animals, and have many friends involved in rescue as well. We see first hand how too many animals suffer in shelters. They're all innocent, beautiful, loving dogs and cats being punished for no reason, stuck in "jail" - many dumped by their owners, many never escape the shelter alive, many never find a loving forever home. Times are NOT good in animal rescue, especially in shelters, it's extremely sad and the situation is getting worse. I ask you to remember that we are ALL ONE, we are all connected. Now more then ever i ask you to please give from your heart, be love, and think of those that need us. The animals need our help!!
One last thing...too many animals are being killed in shelters on a daily basis. LA animal statistics just came out, here are the facts - 10,640 dogs/cats killed in the last three months, including puppies/kittens, and that's in LA county only! We can all make a difference...

We're excited to announce that "ONE LOVE for Shelter Dogs" will be having a special event, hosted by Muttropolis dog boutique at Fashion Island!
It's a great opportunity to drop off blankets, beds, dog sweaters, treats and toys...come by say hi, make your donation and check out what Muttropolis has to offer! It's a fabulous store with lot's of goodies for your haute dog and cool cat, and of course all those wonderful shelter dogs/cats :)
